1. Information We Collect

CineTechs collects information you provide when creating your profile, including your name, email address, department, role, location, skills, and professional credits. We also collect usage data such as pages visited and features used to improve the platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Create and maintain your professional profile
Enable crew discovery and networking
Send relevant notifications about connections and messages
Improve the platform experience

3. Privacy Controls

You control the visibility of your profile fields through per-field privacy settings. Fields can be set to public, connections-only, production-only, private, or never shared.

4. Data Protection

Your data is stored securely using Supabase with row-level security policies. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain profile data while your account is active. If you remove your account, it is deactivated immediately and your data is preserved for 30 days before permanent deletion. During that 30-day window you can contact us to restore your account; after 30 days, removal is permanent and cannot be reversed.
